Would recommend to friends
My husband was involved in an accident shortly after our arrival at the Exotic Bungalows and staff were very attentive to our needs. The manager arranged for repairs of the motorbike insuring the cost of repair wouldn’t be exorbitant. Our friends Okan and Gerald from Geneva recommended this place. We were very pleased with the low price, 24 US dollars per night, location of the hotel being within a few feet of laundry services, bars, restaurants and a knock off of a 7-11. Our room consisted of a king size bed, average in size, fridge, plasma tv and WiFi. The only drawback is the sandy beaches are about about a 7 minute walk. I would recommend this place, as I myself would return.
The place is very cool and also all staff there very kind
A nice friendly and relaxed staff, good location.
Ok place, near to the beach and town.
Bathroom had a bit of a funky smell.
Very good location. Lonely beach 10 minute walk away. Lots of restorants and bars nearby. There was roomcleaning, fresh towels every day. There was a pool, I did not use it but it looked clean. Rooms did not have windows that you can open, but there was AC.
The bed was hard and old. Did not get a good nights sleep.
Very nice location near all the good restaurants and bars. Close to the beach.
Not so clean
It has been difficult giving this place a poor review, because John and his wife are genuinely nice
There is nothing Exotic about the Bungalows and at 1250 baht per night this place is massively over-priced. That has been my main problem with this place. It is a 700 baht property charging 1250 baht.
It had a safe in the room (very important to me) and John (the owner) and his wife work really hard to do the best they can. There is a nice pool and the property is in a good location.
Will defiantly stay next time
Perfect location, close to bars but nice and quiet, staff were nice
- The bed could have been softer. - TV didn't work. - Wifi was pretty slow sometimes.
- Friendly staff. - Perfect location, near to bars and restaurants. Even a gym up the street. - Refrigerator in the bungalow. - Pool.
Not to recommend
My daughter needed to leave after one week and one day as she AIS not at all prefer Koh Chang. With 3 (or 4) days notice, management refused to return her money and instead offered her a measly 100$ return It’s a back-packer spot, not for someone who can afford to pay for a more comfortable environment Disappointed to say the least. As the mom who booked this accommodation, I was a tad embarrassed to leave my daughter there who is NOT a backpacker. Sorry- can not recommend and will not return
The location was idea to the beach and other activities
I would recommend this place. It's perfect location clean. Big nice beds and rooms
Water in shower could be bit warmer
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and it away from the noise of the other end of beach
Cute, nice place, simple
Was ok but have got better for same price in Thailand
Was in a good area
"Exotic Bungalows", nothing exotic about the hotel, just the fact it's situated on an island...
Not worth the baht.
I got the room at half price and still thought it was way overpriced. Rooms on Koh Chang are expensive but 1400baht for a room that would usually be 600 baht elsewhere is overpriced. The fridge wasn't working and was replaced, the cupboard was falling apart, pool had not been cleaned for a while. Basically the amenities are NOT worth 1400 baht.
It is away from most of the noise. The rooms are large. Newly finished bathrooms and reasonably clean. Plenty of places within walking distance. Best restaurant nearby was Magic Garden across the road.
